General description

The motorhome is a Model XGO 35G Dynamic. We first registered it in April 2015. In addition to the standard equipment, we installed an air conditioner in the living area (in working order), added additional electrical outlets, and installed a DuoControl gas system with a crash sensor. We replaced the 2-bike rack with a 4-bike rack.

We also had higher springs installed so that the vehicle wouldn’t appear to be overloaded.

When the accident happened in May 2025, we had an appointment for a gas inspection the next day; the vehicle had just passed its TÜV inspection.

We deregistered the vehicle on 07/25/198 and it has been sitting in our driveway ever since.

We continued to clean and maintain it, as we had originally considered having it repaired. There is no mold or similar issues thanks to the dehumidifier.

We received the expert’s report on November 26, 2025—however, Allianz Insurance did not settle the claim until the end of April 2026, which meant a sale was not possible before then.

According to the report, the vehicle’s residual value is €13,555.

Known defects

* We removed the awning and replaced it with a track system.
* Structural damage. A vehicle struck the motorhome on the rear left side on the driver’s side.
An expert report is available—can be requested.

* Water damage repaired—however, due to the need to rebuild the side and rear walls, this was not recorded or documented by the expert.

* The rear camera was replaced with a wireless one, so it is now missing and the monitor inside is no longer connected.

* According to the expert, the vehicle is drivable but not roadworthy due to deformed vehicle parts
