We are selling our WILK S3 490 manufactured by Knaus Tabbert. We’ve owned the trailer since June 6, 2024, and are now selling it because we’ve decided to get a new one. We’ve been camping for two years and have really enjoyed using the trailer.
The trailer is in excellent condition, dry, and free of water damage. It doesn’t smell musty.

The trailer is dry and has no water damage. There is also no unpleasant or musty odor.
Of course, as a 2008 model, the trailer shows some signs of age and wear. We would like to explicitly mention the following:
• A small crack on the inside of a window near the bed
• There is a dent approximately 30 cm long on the wheel well on the tent side. The wheel well has already been replaced once.
• The upper window near the bunk beds was leaking and was replaced in 2025 by a specialized company.
• There are two small dents on the rear left side.
• There is damage to the gas tank on the front right side that was caused by the previous owner. The plastic was repaired with adhesive from the inside.
• A drip tray was retrofitted to the gas tank, as it was previously missing.
• The metal/chrome in the refrigerator has tarnished. It doesn’t smell musty and is clean!
• The roller blind over the vent by the large bed was missing at the time of purchase. We covered it with a panel to block out the light. A matching replacement part is no longer available.
• The external antenna was removed.
Important: The trailer is dry and has no water damage. It also has no musty odor.
We have honestly listed all the issues we are aware of so that prospective buyers can get a realistic picture of the trailer.
️ Why we’re selling it
We’ve been camping since 2024 and have had a wonderful time with the trailer. Now we’d like to get a new trailer, which is why we’re looking to pass our WILK S3 490 on to a good home.
Our Conclusion
A well-maintained and well-equipped family trailer with a mover, a weight capacity of 1,500 kg, 100-series registration, new tires, and a recently completed HU/TÜV and gas inspection.
The bunk beds, the large bed, and the spacious Isabella awning are particularly practical—ideal for families and longer camping vacations.
