Since the vehicle was built in 1995, it has reached the 30-year mark. It’s an ideal candidate for this and can be prepared for the H-license plate with just a few minor tweaks (such as covering the radio to match the era). Advantage: extremely low taxes and unrestricted access to low-emission zones!
The Engine: An Indestructible Endurance Runner
Under the hood is the legendary 2.5-liter naturally aspirated diesel engine. This engine gets by without any prone-to-failure electronics or a turbocharger—it’s all about pure, solid mechanics. With about 170,000 km on the odometer, the “Iron Pig” has only just broken in and is considered indestructible in the camper scene.

Cockpit: The seats are upholstered in stylish red leather (look). The passenger seat swivels, perfectly expanding the living space!

Honest condition:
In good condition for its age. Only cosmetic flaw: The adhesive on the headliner (reupholstered by the previous owner) is slowly peeling in a few spots. This can be easily fixed with some spray adhesive; it never bothered us.
The vehicle is still registered. Viewing and test drives are possible by appointment. Private sale with no warranty for material defects.
The vehicle is sold without any warranty and only as a project car—as-is, with no right of return.
