VW T4 Syncro 2.5 TDI – 4WD camper, only 189,000 km, TÜV valid through 06/28

Selling my converted T4 Syncro. Genuine Syncro all-wheel drive, new TÜV valid through 06/2028, air conditioning, and cruise control.

Only 189,000 km—unusually low for a T4; most on the market have over 300,000. Former government vehicle for the State of North Rhine-Westphalia; I am the first civilian owner. Manufactured in 2000, first registered in 12/2001 (remained registered until it was put into service by the government agency), eligible for classic car status starting in late 2031.

Camper van registration is easily possible—the interior meets the requirements (permanently installed sleeping area, sink, storage space); it just needs to be inspected by the TÜV. This saves the buyer on taxes and insurance in the long run. I’d be happy to arrange this, including a fresh TÜV inspection, upon agreement.

Professional-quality interior fit-out completed in 2024 by a carpenter specializing in VW buses; some additions have been made by the owner since then. Used for several vacations without any issues and also served as an everyday car. Fuel consumption: approx. 7.5 l

Maintenance up to date, no pending repairs: timing belt, clutch with ZMS, brakes, shock absorbers. Rust treatment on the sills performed by a professional shop in the spring (welded, treated, rust prevention), wax treatment every year.

Honestly: For a 25-year-old car, it’s in very good condition, but there are some minor dents and scratches.
