This original T3 California high-roof conversion has been with us since 1991; due to my age, I am now selling it.

Legally, the vehicle is third-hand, but it has been in the family since it was first registered, as documented in the vehicle registration certificate.

The California has a replacement engine (installed at approximately 200,000 km) and a replacement transmission (installed at approximately 245,000 km).

Accident damage: In 2018, the car was damaged in a collision with wildlife—front and left side. As part of the repair, it was completely repainted, so the California trim stripe and emblem are missing.

During the TÜV inspection in April 2023, the starter motor, turbocharger, timing belt, clutch, and both batteries were replaced.

As part of the TÜV inspection in May 2025, the 10-year pressure test on the gas tank was performed, and the gauges were replaced.

In January 2026, the cylinder head and glow plugs were replaced. The vehicle is equipped with an auxiliary heater and a trailer hitch.

It also comes with an awning that attaches to a Brandrup Top-Rail and a bike rack.

A child safety net is provided for the sleeping area in the roof.

A certificate for an H license plate is available.

The rear seat heater has been removed (but is still present), so there is more space under the bench seat.

Defects + Imperfections:

a) Window seals on the side windows are porous

b) Rust spot in front of the left rear wheel

c) The kitchen countertop has chipped areas on the front

d) The lower part of the driver’s door trim is bulging

e) The tachometer’s backlight is defective
