For sale is our well-maintained Robeta Ares based on a Citroën Jumper, first registered in April 2021.

The Ares has been a reliable companion on many of our trips and stands out above all for its unique combination of compact exterior dimensions and surprisingly high levels of living comfort. At just around 5.41 m long and 2.05 m wide, it’s pleasantly maneuverable and can be easily driven and parked even in places where larger RVs quickly become impractical.

Despite its compact dimensions, you’ll hardly have to sacrifice anything inside: a fixed double bed, a private bathroom with shower and toilet, a kitchen, an electric refrigerator, a cozy seating area, diesel heating, a solar system, a large Thule awning, and a surprising amount of storage space are all on board.

The motorhome has, of course, been used for travel and is in well-maintained, fully functional condition, ready to hit the road immediately.

Living and Sleeping

One of the Ares’s major advantages is the fixed double bed in the rear. After a long day of traveling, there’s no need to reconfigure anything—the bed is ready for use at any time.

There are additional cabinets and storage options all around the sleeping area. This allows you to neatly stow away plenty of items, even on longer trips.

The front living area consists of a cozy seating group with high-quality upholstery and a table. The driver’s and passenger’s seats can be integrated into the living area, creating a surprisingly spacious living space despite the vehicle’s compact size.

The table can be extended as needed, providing plenty of space for two people to eat or enjoy a cozy evening in the RV.

Comprehensive lighting system with indirect lighting

A nice touch in the interior is the well-designed lighting system with both direct and indirect lighting.

In addition to functional lighting in the kitchen, bathroom, living area, and sleeping area, the Ares features various integrated and indirect light sources. This allows the interior to be brightly lit depending on the situation or made significantly cozier in the evening.

Another major advantage is the diesel auxiliary heater. This means you don’t have to constantly keep extra gas on hand for heating. This is especially convenient on longer trips or during the transitional seasons.

The refrigerator is electrically powered and connected to the vehicle’s existing electrical system.

Useful extras added

We’ve also added a few practical features to the Ares.

These include a permanently installed triple gas detector, which provides additional safety in the living area.

In addition, a permanently installed electric roof vent was retrofitted in the rear section. It features integrated lighting and a temperature control function and ensures good air circulation.

The roof fan is a truly pleasant extra, especially on warm summer days and at night.

Large Thule awning

Outside, there is a large Thule awning.

This allows you to quickly expand the living area outdoors at your campsite, creating a sheltered space for a table and chairs in just a few minutes.

At 5.41 m long and just 2.05 m wide, the Ares is much more maneuverable than many traditional RVs. This really makes a difference on narrow roads, in cities, in smaller parking spots, or on longer road trips.

At the same time, in the evenings you have a real, sturdy bed, your own kitchen, your own bathroom, and a cozy seating area.

Thanks to the diesel heater, solar panel, electric refrigerator, and the retrofitted roof fan, you also enjoy a pleasant level of independence while on the road.

Even longer trips are no problem with the Ares. Some of the photos show the vehicle on our travels and give a good sense of how compact it remains, even at a campground or parking spot.

Condition

The Ares has been used regularly as a motorhome and currently has about 80,000 km on it.

It is explicitly not an unused display vehicle, but rather a motorhome that has been used for travel.
