Pössl Duett L – Looking for a New Home

There are RVs that take you from A to B. And then there are those that take you on adventures you’ll remember for years to come. Our Pössl definitely falls into the second category 🩷

After many wonderful trips, our faithful companion is now ready to find new favorite people. It was built in 2001, has a sturdy Fiat 2.8 L TDI engine with 122 PS, and currently has about 129,500 km on the odometer (it’s still being driven). The engine is fuel-efficient (I’ve driven it at about 7–8 l/100 km, depending on driving style, of course) and reliable, and a lot has been invested in it over the past few years.

What we won’t hide:

A 25-year-old camper naturally has its quirks:

The external gas connection has been deactivated

The fuel gauge does not work

The window on the passenger side can only be operated using the switch on the driver’s side

The fuel cap is not lockable

Inside, there are age-related signs of wear, and the paint shows traces here and there of our charming old-timer’s past travels.

These little imperfections have never bothered us or kept us from traveling. If you’re looking for a perfect new car, you’re in the wrong place.
