I'm selling the Malibu Camper due to personal circumstances.
Until it’s sold, I’ll still be using it occasionally for short trips on my own. The odometer reading is therefore currently between 48,000 and 50,000 km.
The camper was used exclusively by us (two adults) for personal purposes. No pets were transported in it.
The camper comes with the following features:
- Heavy-duty chassis, rated at 3.5 metric tons (can be upgraded to a higher load capacity without difficulty using the original paperwork)
- Large 90-liter fuel tank
- 636 cm long, 210 cm wide, 259 cm high
- Air conditioning
- 160 PS, automatic transmission, Euro 6DTemp
- TÜV/HU valid through March 2027
- Osram LED low-beam and high-beam headlights
- 2 × 150-watt solar panels with a Victron solar charger featuring Bluetooth
- 200 Ah LiFeYPo4 battery made from 4* Winston industrial cells with a 120A BMS featuring Bluetooth (The advantage over standard LiFePo4 cells is that this one can be used and charged down to -20°C.) Alternatively, I can remove the battery so you can install your own. I would adjust the price accordingly.
- Schaudt 25A charge booster (charges the auxiliary battery while driving via the alternator)
- 90-liter compressor refrigerator with freezer compartment (advantage over an absorption refrigerator: cools significantly faster and more reliably, especially in the summer)
- Auxiliary heater and hot water via Truma Kombi 6DE (diesel + electric options available), eliminating the hassle of frequent gas cylinder changes
- Digital control panel for the heater (can be upgraded to Truma remote/app control)
- Insulated and heated wastewater tank and drain
- Large awning, 4m
- Gas stove with 2 burners
- Sink
- Toilet, shower (with plenty of space for a camper van), and sink
- Space in the rear for 2 x 11 kg gas cylinders (one 5 kg gas cylinder has lasted well over a year for cooking so far)
- DAB radio with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (wired or wireless connection available)
- Power outlet package and 230V outlets
- TV preparation
- Double-floor insert in the rear
- Cruise control
- Rear parking assist with beeper
- Emergency braking assist
- Lane departure warning system
- High-beam assist
- Traffic sign recognition
- Rain and light sensor
- Tire pressure sensors
- Power-folding side mirrors
- Rearview camera (via the radio display)
- All-terrain tires, which I’ve been very satisfied with so far in both winter and summer. I’ve always had good traction in deep snow or on muddy fields, and the driving noise isn’t any louder compared to standard summer tires. The only difference is that fuel consumption is about 0.3 liters higher.
- Wheel chocks, high-quality snow chains (needed only once for a few meters), insulation for the cab windows, and various cooking utensils can be included upon request. We’re sure to find a price that’s fair for both sides.
- The floor space of the cab is fully insulated from the floor and the engine compartment (sound and heat insulation) and fitted with a custom-fit floor mat (Kantop quality), which is included with the purchase.
3,115 kg without the driver, with a full diesel tank, at least half a tank of AdBlue, plus dishes and snow chains.
All bodywork inspections were performed at the Malibu dealership.
Vehicle inspections were also always performed by a repair shop.
A comprehensive orientation is, of course, provided free of charge upon request. I am also available to answer any questions after the purchase.
There are small scratch marks on the plastic at the front right bottom, as well as a very small dent on the hood caused by a stone chip. (See photos)
The vehicle is available immediately.
If you have any questions or are interested in the camper, please feel free to contact me. If you include a phone number, I’ll call you back as soon as possible.
Private sale.
I exclude any liability for material defects.
Liability for damages resulting from injury to health, bodily injury, or loss of life, as well as for grossly negligent and/or intentional breaches of my duties as a seller, remains unrestricted.
