Known defects

From time to time, the error messages "Have transmission checked" or "Have engine checked" appear. The gearbox shifts perfectly. We have been to a FIAT Professional workshop with this error message. Neither a mechanical problem nor defects were detected there. Instead, they told us that this is a known error message for the 9-speed automatic gearbox installed in this FIAT Ducato. A software update from FIAT, which should rectify this error message, will be installed shortly. Nevertheless, the vehicle passed the general inspection without any complaints.

It is important to us that we deal with this error message transparently.
