HYMER ML-T 570 – Semi-integrated motorhome with a V6 Sprinter and well-designed off-grid modifications

We’re selling our beloved Hymer ML-T 570 because it’s simply become too small for our young family with two toddlers (2.5 years and 2 months old). Right after we took delivery, we invested further in the interior to ensure true self-sufficiency—and it’s paid off: In the roughly 45,000 km we’ve traveled in the vehicle, you can count on one hand how many times we actually had to plug into a shore power outlet. The real reason for the sale, however, lies elsewhere: The vehicle is simply not designed to allow child seats to be installed properly and safely; there are no ISOFIX anchors. And since we’re generally not fans of traveling with babies in a motorhome (we just don’t get that “two-room apartment” feeling with two toddlers on board), we’re now parting ways with our Hymer.

KEY DETAILS

First registration: 2021; we took ownership in 2022 with about 11,000 km on the odometer (second-hand)

Chassis: Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with the popular V6 engine, one of the last model series to feature this engine before Mercedes switched to four-cylinder engines

The vehicle comes with the extensive standard equipment of the CrossOver special edition (details available upon request or viewable in the Hymer configurator; not listed individually here for the sake of clarity). In addition, investments were made in:

Original cassette toilet professionally converted to a dry-separation toilet (OGO system incl. SOG connection); the original cassette toilet is included
Satellite system professionally removed; replaced with a complete 5G/LTE package: Teltonika RUTX50 with external Poynting antenna, connected directly to the battery, providing reliable internet even away from the campground
Mounting bracket prepared for a Starlink dish
Additional Victron MPPT 100/30 charge controller for an external solar panel (includes a foldable 340-W solar panel)
Victron SmartShunt 500A for precise battery monitoring
T-Max 160 air compressor, installation included—handy for adjusting tire pressure on the go
Mount for mud flaps installed
Additional 12V outlet in the dinette
Diesel heater converted to Truma iNet X control system, convenient app control of heating and air conditioning
Compressor refrigerator installed instead of an absorption refrigerator, providing reliable cooling even at high outside temperatures
The rear TV and the original satellite system have been removed but are included in full
Security locks retrofitted on all doors
