Hymer B 504 DL - space miracle, only 6 m long, high-quality equipment, extremely maneuverable, lots of self-sufficiency
We are offering our Hymer B-Class 504 Dynamic Line for sale. It is particularly suitable for travelers who are looking for an extremely short integrated vehicle and value a well-maintained vehicle with high-quality equipment. The vehicle is no longer built in this length and quality.
Despite being only 6 m long, it offers plenty of space for two people (and possibly small children) as well as ample storage space thanks to its intelligent layout (front drop-down bed 185x145, rear transverse bed 200x116/90). Although spacious and comfortable, its length and wheelbase of 3.30 m make it extremely maneuverable (more than some panel vans), it also feels very comfortable in small (e.g. Italian) towns and can be easily parked on a 90° parking space with a standard length of 5 m and a grass verge behind it, even in cities, without protruding into the road at the front. On Norwegian ferries, for example, the length <6m is very advantageous in terms of price.
The living cabin is completely wood-free and well insulated with Hymer's proven PUAL construction (foamed walls with aluminum smooth sheet) as well as a GRP roof and Seitz framed windows. The vehicle is winter-proof thanks to the heated, continuous double floor and insulated/heated tanks and offers an all-round comfortable climate in the entire living area thanks to an ALDE hot water heater, even in cold weather, quietly and without a hot air blower. Thanks to the built-in engine heat exchanger, the body can be heated while driving without using gas.
The motorhome is very comprehensively equipped (except for a TV system, which we did not need - TV preparation is installed; instead, our portafilter machine resides in the TV compartment). In 2023, we converted the cassette toilet to a dry separation toilet from Natures Head and are totally delighted with the handling, including the self-sufficiency achieved. If a potential buyer does not want this: The original Thetford cassette toilet is available, in excellent condition and could be retrofitted without leaving any residue before handover.
The non-smoking vehicle is first-hand, accident-free and has a full service history. We have covered the living area floor and the rear garage with a robust ball yarn carpet (see pictures) to protect the original floor. Ramp mirrors have been added on the driver and passenger sides, which are very helpful in tight spaces. Black wheel hub covers are fitted to the car, the original wheel trims are present and undamaged.
