General description

It is the Forster A741VB, which we have owned since September 2023. We have made additions to be able to operate the motorhome self-sufficiently. These include a solar system (450WP), an Ective inverter (2KW), a Liontron battery (2KW), a larger Votronic charging booster (70A) and the installation of a separate dry toilet insert in the existing Thetford toilet. In addition, 3 further 230V sockets were installed. The electrical system has been converted so that 230V is permanently available. This means that the heating can be operated on the first level in the body while driving, heating it and producing hot water.

An air suspension has been installed at the rear, which means that a permissible total weight of 4090 kg is currently possible.

The doors in the cab have been insulated and the loudspeakers (Pioneer TS-A1671F) have been replaced.

The Truma heater exhaust has been fitted with a chimney shield.

All 3 body doors (entrance and 2x rear garage) have been reinforced with additional Thule exterior locks.

Known defects

Rear window, passenger side: corner broken off. Window is tight
