We are selling our Ford Nugget Plus high-roof model, first registered in July 2019, with only about 53,500 km, 170 PS, and a 6-speed manual transmission.

We have not only maintained the Nugget but also specifically upgraded it for self-sufficient and comfortable travel. Of particular note are:

The Nugget Plus high roof combines the relatively compact exterior dimensions of the Transit Custom with a surprisingly spacious interior. Thanks to the fixed high roof, the upper sleeping area is always accessible without having to open a pop-up roof first. The Plus also features a longer body with additional storage space and a restroom area in the rear.

The familiar Nugget features include, among other things, the Westfalia kitchen with a stove, sink, and refrigerator; the sliding bench seat that converts into a bed; numerous storage and shelving options; blackout curtains; and swivel front seats.

The 170-PS diesel engine has proven to be exceptionally pleasant for us, even on longer trips. Based on our experience, long-term fuel consumption ranges from about 8.5 to 9.5 l/100 km, depending on driving style and route—which is remarkably moderate given the high roof, interior layout, and spaciousness.

The vehicle was actually used as a travel vehicle and has reliably accompanied us on many trips. That’s why the photos deliberately show the Nugget not only in a parking lot but also on the road.
