It is a Fiat Ducato 290 with a Dethleffs Globetrotter body.

An awning and a small solar system installed on the roof are mounted on the body. Thanks to the built-in solar system and a large body battery which can be charged via the alternator while driving, it is easy to be self-sufficient. In addition, a 120 liter fresh water tank is installed on the front axle to always have enough water on board.

We renovated the interior of the motorhome about 3 years ago, but the bathroom is in its original condition. Furthermore, a new absorption refrigerator was installed as part of the renovation, which runs very economically on gas.

The entire structure is tight and there has never been any water damage. A leak test was carried out 3 years ago and the motorhome was always parked indoors and only moved in the summer.

The window in the alcove was once removed and sealed as it posed a great risk of water damage.

The motorhome is over 30 years old and can therefore be tested for an H license plate.

It has a weight of 3100 kg and can therefore be driven comfortably with a B driving license.

It offers up to 5 sleeping places as it has an alcove and the dining table can be converted into a bed.

As far as the vehicle itself is concerned, the engine runs smoothly and is dry. -The gearbox and alternator were changed in 2020 and run without any problems.

-Axle boots were changed in 2022

-Annual sealing of the underbody + application of Owatrol oil against rust.

In general, the underbody looks very good and there is hardly any rust.

-HU+AU have never been a problem and have always been passed without defects.

What needs to be done?

The vehicle itself is over 30 years old and you can see that a little from the outside. There are minor dents and the paint is a little worn, but that just makes the whole thing really romantic and tells a story.

The engine leaks coolant from time to time, which has already been checked in a workshop, but nothing could be found as it is kept 90% of the time.

The lock on the driver's side was damaged once by strangers but is still active.

As far as the body is concerned, one water pipe has a leak. You can repair this yourself or have it repaired in a caravan workshop. This should be a minor operation.
