The motorhome has a gross vehicle weight rating of 5,800 kg. The retrofit increased the permissible gross combination weight to 6,900 kg.

The decisive factor here is the actual weight of the combination. For example, if the motorhome actually weighs 5,400 kg, a trailer with an actual weight of 1,500 kg can be towed, provided the permissible trailer load and all other technical limits are observed.

This combination offers additional flexibility, for example, when transporting a Smart car on a suitable trailer.
