The power steering was replaced in 2016.

2 new front seats in 2016; V-belt including all pulleys, tensioner, and pulley replaced in 2017; brake pads and rotors replaced in 2019; 4 new winter tires in 2022; ABS module replaced in 2023.

In 2023, the van underwent extensive refurbishment—welding and repainting, new lights, new mirrors, new seals, new windshield, all body windows (Dometic Seitz—really expensive!) replaced, air conditioning unit installed on the roof instead of a roof vent, etc.

This overhaul alone cost over 25,000 euros. Invoice available, of course.

Of course—with this vehicle, there’s surface rust on the bolted body panels; that’s inevitable. But everything was overhauled and replaced where necessary. Welding work was also performed in May 2017 (including the sills and rear door).

For the TÜV inspection in August 2025, the brake lines, the horn, and part of the exhaust system were replaced. The emissions test was, of course, passed.

Last repair: January 2026—new rear left wheel bearing.
