There are vehicles that simply work and there are vehicles that are a way of life.

Our Bürstner IXEO I 746 clearly belongs (for us) to the second category.

We have never seen our motorhome as a "means of transportation", but as our retreat, our vantage point and also as a small temporary home. To be honest, that's why it's not easy for us to give it up - but sometimes priorities change.

An almost unique design and a sense of space that you have to experience. The special feature starts as soon as you enter:

The two lowerable beds (front and rear) create an interior space during the day that you won't find anywhere else in this class:

- full use of the entire length of approx. 7.5 m (as much space as in a 10 m liner)

- an open, airy feeling of space

- virtually two separate living and sleeping areas (e.g. in case one of the two partners snores :-))

- In the evening a round seating group in the rear, at night a bed. Since the whole thing is fully electric, there is no "conversion effort" and you don't have the feeling of "sitting in a motorhome", but rather in a small, well thought-out apartment on wheels.

Maximum self-sufficiency: We experienced our motorhome as freedom and therefore attached great importance to being free standing:

- large solar system (550 watts) → In summer we were able to travel without shore power, although we both worked here too.

- 180Wh lithium batteries -> plenty of reserve (even with TV, notebooks and everything on)!

- Large inverter → 230V like at home

- mobile WLAN → work or stream wherever you want

- second toilet cassette → significantly more independence

For us, this has always meant stopping where others have to drive on.
