General description

Tischer Trail 230 Detachable Cabin: Standard equipment, additional lengthwise bed, storage shelf above the stove; skylight; Additional cabinets installed in the bathroom; electric step retrofitted, new control panel/display; 3 solar panels and 2 lithium batteries, 150 AH (enabling very long periods of self-sufficient camping!); bicycle rack

When not in use, the cabin is stored under the roof; it is fully weatherproof.

Amarok: Rear auxiliary air suspension by Goldschmitt, retrofitted by Tischer; a hardtop for the vehicle’s cargo area is also available when the cabin is not in use

Known defects

Base vehicle: Amarok, first registered in 2015. The vehicle (pickup) was also used—albeit infrequently—without the cab (when a larger cargo area was needed), with or without a hardtop; it has some scratches and dents from normal use.

Tischer Trail 230, model year 2000—signs of wear and tear due to age and use on the exterior and interior, but the cab is watertight and everything works.
