With a heavy heart, we have decided to sell our Kip Shelter plus.

Last year it accompanied us to Denmark and Sweden (approx. 6000 km) and this year it took us on a wonderful trip through Brittany and Normandy (approx. 4400 km). The small caravan was ordered by us with many extras and in the interior we also retrofitted some shelves, hanging rails on the ceiling and USB plugs, so that it is perfectly and really highly functionally equipped.

The very attractive and high-quality awning/sun awning (DeWaard) is easy to attach to the caravan and can therefore be set up in no time at all. It offers protection from the sun and in rainy weather you can sit under it with a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the world.

This mini caravan is also suitable for electric cars!

An electric vehicle (Tesla Model 3 Long Range) served as the towing vehicle for the small (L/W/H: 4551mm/1832mm/2145mm), light (640 kg, loaded up to 900 kg!) and aerodynamic caravan dwarf, which also carried two bicycles on its drawbar, on our trips, which worked very well from our point of view. With only 70% utilization of the battery capacity (SoC of 85 - 15% to conserve the EV's battery) and preferably at a maximum speed of 90 km/h, the range was an acceptable 170 - 240 km from our point of view. With 90% battery utilization (SoC 100 - 10%), the range is around 170 - 270 km (at summer temperatures between 15 and 30 degrees C).
