We are selling our well-maintained Ahorn Canada AD as our camping needs have changed. The kids are of age and we are now only traveling as a couple.

We bought the motorhome new from Ahorn in Dietzenbach in summer 2023. Back then, the entire underbody was professionally refinished and sealed. In addition, spray flaps were fitted at the rear to minimize spray water in the rear area. I was present at all the leak tests and sometimes measure them myself. The motorhome is completely dry, including all known areas such as the rear wall and wheel arches.

The motorhome is loaded to 4000 kg, the permissible axle load of the rear axle was extended to 2400 kg by expert opinion. This made it necessary to install beautiful aluminum rims and all-weather tires from Barum with a corresponding load capacity. The motorhome is also equipped with a trailer coupling, wide awning, Goldschmidt air suspension, 4 compartment bicycle rack, additional expansion tank in the water circuit (noise minimization) and winter package.

In addition, the motorhome has a self-sufficient package with 200w solar, which we have upgraded to 280AH LiFePo4 with complete Victron charging equipment. The Victron equipment includes the charger for shore power, solar charge controller, charge booster from the battery and a shunt that keeps you informed of the battery status via smartphone. We were self-sufficient for several weeks in Norway and Sweden, with a battery low of 80% and a waffle iron with 1000w on board. An inverter up to 2000w was installed. The motorhome was not connected to shore power once in the 3 years.

The rear transverse bed is designed as a drop-down bed, which makes it easy to get into the back even without the short ladder. Nevertheless, the bed can be folded up if necessary to utilize the full height of the spacious rear garage. Due to a faux pas when reparking (kids were sitting on the bed in the back), the plate of the drop-down bed was torn when driving over a threshold. The panel was repaired and stabilized with 4 bracing strips, otherwise there are no defects on the motorhome. The damage is out of sight and can only be seen when you look up in the rear garage. The panel is now more stable than before. Otherwise in great condition, no bumps, other damage etc.

The gas heater is a Truma 4 with hot water boiler. For winter camping, a gas cylinder of 11 kg lasts 5 - 6 days with heating, fridge and use of the stove, making it very frugal. A lot of motorhome at an affordable price, we couldn't complain about the quality from the start. The support and service provided by Ahorn in Dietzenbach were also good. If we didn't want to downsize, we would certainly have continued to use the motorhome for a few more years. Not an emergency sale.

New price approx. 82,000 € + another 5,000 € extras, warranty extended to a total of 6 years. So still 3.5 years warranty.
